Gooch is also among those who won’t be able to compete in the PGA Tour’s FedEx Cup playoffs.
A federal ruling this week denied Gooch, Matt Jones and Hudson Swafford an opportunity to join the PGA Tour’s post-season.

The first of three FedEx Cup playoff events begins Thursday.
Two tournaments offer $15-million US in prize funds, and the player who wins the FedEx Cup at East Lake in Atlanta gets $18 million.
