Recap: Brayan Rocchio singled home Richie Palacios in the bottom of the eighth inning to complete the Clippers’ doubleheader sweep at Huntington Park. Rocchio was the only batter in the inning for Columbus, as Palacios began the extra frame on second base. Clippers catcher Zack Collins was 2 for 3 in the game to raise his batting average to .350. Tim Herrin (2-0) was the Clippers’ fifth pitcher and threw two hitless innings for the win. … In the first game, Jhonkensy Noel was 2 for 3 with a home run for Columbus. Bo Naylor also went 2 for 3 and Zach Plesac (1-0), just down from the Cleveland Guardians, pitched a three-hit complete game (seven innings). He struck out six and walked two.
