Major League Baseball revealed an updated look at the 2023 All-Star Game balloting, and a few Yankees remain in the mix to be starters.

With Phase 1 of fan voting ending on Thursday at noon ET, Aaron Judge remains in the lead among American League outfielders, over Mike Trout and Randy Arozarena.

Despite residing on the IL with a toe injury, the reigning AL MVP is currently the second-highest vote getter in the AL with 1,584,254 votes, only trailing Shohei Ohtani.

If Judge does end up making the team, it is still unknown if he will be back in time to participate in the game, as the slugger remains without a timeline for a return to the field.

The next closest Yankee to advancing to the second round of voting is Anthony Rizzo at first base. He’s had a very strong year at the plate but trails Yandy Diaz and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. by over 500,000 votes.

Elsewhere, Jose Trevino and DJ LeMahieu rank ninth at their respective positions. Gleyber Torres ranks fifth at second, rookie shortstop Anthony Volpe ranks seventh, and Giancarlo Stanton ranks sixth among DH. Harrison Baderwho has battled injuries over the first half, ranks 17th among AL outfielders.

If Judge and/or Rizzo were to reach Phase 2 of voting, that doesn’t guarantee they will make the AL squad. Once the starters are chosen via the fan vote, the reserves are later chosen by the coaching staff, although fan voting does provide some input.
