Women’s Soccer Preview: Coastal Carolina

WILMINGTON, North Carolina – UNCW will celebrate the tenth anniversary of the adoption of Baylee Adkins by the women’s soccer team through the Friends of Jaclyn Foundation on Sunday at 7 pm when the Seahawks and Coastal Carolina clash at UNCW Soccer Stadium.

The Seahawks (1-1-1) host the Chanticleers (0-1-2) in their home opener following three straight road games to begin the season. The game will be streamed on FloFC with Jim Whitmeyer on the call. Live stats will be available at UNCWStats.com.

UNCW played to a 1-1 draw at VCU on Thursday on a Madison Henry goal early in the second half. The Rams equalized in the 82nd minute to avoid the loss.

Coastal Carolina will face a second straight Colonial Athletic Association opponent after a 3-0 road setback at Charleston last weekend.
