Women’s Soccer Meets Michigan State for Final Exhibition

CHICAGO – DePaul women’s soccer heads to East Lansing, Mich. for a final tune-up on Saturday, August 13 at 12 pm CT. The matchup against the Spartans will conclude the Blue Demons preseason slate, as the regular season kicks off next Thursday in Lincoln Park.

DePaul began their preseason slate versus Milwaukee on Sunday, Aug. 7 at Wish Field. The Blue Demons looked strong in early season action.

Michigan State has a 10-5-3 record in 2021, capturing wins against Minnesota, Iowa and Ohio State that led to their fourth place Big Ten finish. Their season ended in a loss to Iowa in the Big Ten Tournament.

The Blue Demons open the regular season on Thursday, Aug. 18 against Oakland with first touchdown scheduled for 4 pm CT. DePaul begins their season with eight non-conference games before BIG EAST play begins with a home matchup versus Marquette on Sept. 22.
