The fields for the NCAA women’s regional tournaments are set.
A total of 72 teams advanced to regionals, but now the top five finishers at each of the six host sites will reach the NCAA Division I Women’s Championship (as well as the top individual on a non-advancing team). This is the first year that 30 women’s teams will compete at the national championship, up from 24 teams a year ago.
The regional tournaments will be held May 8-10.
The NCAA Championship is a week later, beginning May 19, at Grayhawk Golf Club in Arizona.
