Whoa! Samsung Galaxy S23 colors leak, renders flaunt updated design

Leaked renders of the Samsung Galaxy S23 suggest four new shades of colors on the standard and Ultra models.

Samsung’s Galaxy S23 series has leaked once again and this time, we get to see all the color variants. Samsung is bringing a host of new colors to the lineup, ditching all the fancy colors we saw on the Galaxy S22 variants. A set of new renders now show the newly designed Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 Plus bathed in these new colors. The same goes for the mildly tweaked Galaxy S23 Ultra, which also comes bathed in these new colors.

The leaked renders, which tend to look official, come from a report by fmkorea.com, show the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 Ultra wearing the new colors. The standard and Ultra variants now have the same colors, which is a first for the lineup; the Galaxy S22 Ultra had different colors from the standard variants. The four new colors include off-white, pink, green and black.

Samsung Galaxy S23 series leaks again

Other than the colors, we also get to see the new design on the Galaxy S23 series. The Galaxy S23 looks a whole lot more like the upcoming Galaxy A series devices, wearing the camera lens islands we first saw on the S22 Ultra. There are three cameras on the back, with them most likely to be the same setup as the one from the Galaxy S22.

Then there’s the Galaxy S23 Ultra that largely looks like the Galaxy S22 Ultra. However, there are minor tweaks to the design here and there, as suggested by the previous leaks. The phone continues to have a quad camera setup at the back. Samsung is rumored to use a new 200MP camera sensor for the main camera while retaining the rest of the setup from its predecessor. The 10X zoom camera remains on this model as well.

Other rumors have also suggested that the Galaxy S23 series will use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip with a boosted performance core. This should allow for faster processing speeds than other Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 smartphones. The better power efficiency should also allow for better battery life on these phones. The Galaxy S23 Ultra retains the S Pen stylus and can now do up to 8K video recording at 30 fps.
