The last chance to qualify for the Tour Championship is here.
The final 70 golfers in the FedExCup standings will hit the course this week in Delaware, where they’ll compete for the 30 spots available at East Lake next week in Atlanta.
Point totals are still elevated. The winner at the BMW Championship will take home 2,000 points, compared to the normal 500 points a player gets for a win during the regular season. That means that just about anyone, even last-place Wyndham Clark, can sneak into the Tour Championship. That’s what jumped Will Zalatoris to No. 1 in the standings after his win in Memphis.

Here’s a look at who is right on the bubble this week at the BMW Championship.
Just inside the cutoff
No. 25: Joohyung Kim
No. 26: Davis Riley
No. 27: Sahith Theegala
No. 28: Kevin Kisner
No. 29: Corey Conners
No. 30: JJ Spaun
All five of these golfers are in the field this week, although it’s Joohyung Kim who is peaking at just the right time.
Kim picked up his inaugural PGA Tour win at the Wyndham Championship, which allowed him to sneak into the FedExCup Playoffs and earn his Tour card. The 20-year-old then backed it up with a T13 finish last week in Memphis — his fourth top-15 finish in six starts.
Sahith Theegala jumped into the top-30 with his T13 finish last week, too. Although that was his 10th inside the top-25 this season, it was his first since the John Deere Classic.
Outside looking in
No. 31: Aaron Wise
No. 32: Maverick McNealy
No. 33: KH Lee
No. 34: Lucas Glover
No. 35: Denny McCarthy
Of this group, Lucas Glover is making an incredible charge up the standings — one that almost got him into East Lake before playing even started this week.
Glover finished T3 at the FedEx St. Jude Championship last week with a final-round 66, which marked his best finish of the season. He’d missed four cuts in his last six starts, too, which makes his finish in Memphis even more impressive. That jumped him nearly 100 spots in the standings.
Lee and McCarthy are the only others in the group who finished T20 or better last week. McCarthy’s finish snapped a streak of two consecutive missed cuts. Lee also finished at 8-under last week, which was a big jump from his T61 finish at the Wyndham Championship and his two missed cuts in Scotland.
