Even though Jeter doesn’t play the game anymore, the former New York Yankees legend and Tom Brady have too many similarities. While playing baseball and football, Jeter and Brady have been probably the best ambassadors of their sports.

And when talking about Jeter and Brady, not many people are aware, but back in the early 2000s, Jeter and Brady teamed for the same brand.

Derek Jeter and Tom Brady endorsed the same watch company in 2006

Knowing that Derek Jeter and Tom Brady played different sports, it was impossible to watch them play together. However, off the field, the two American sports greats once promoted the same brand.

Per a New York Post report from 2006, the former Yankees’ shortstop signed with Movado to promote the company’s high-end sports watches. The report also confirmed that Brady was already endorsing the watch company when Jeter signed the contract.

At the time when Jeter joined the watch company, he also admitted that he does not have any watch collection like other athletes.

“I like watches. I wouldn’t say I’m a watch connoisseur. It’s something that appeals to everyone,” Derek Jeter said. “It’s not a situation where only the rich can afford it.”

Brady has his game going even in his 40s

There is no denying that Tom Brady is the most successful NFL star to date. Although he already has seven rings to his name, the Buccaneers quarterback is in no mood to rest. Notably, even at 45, Brady is still going strong in the NFL.
