A reshuffled Sharks outfit shot out to an early 12-nil lead with their new-look halves pairing of Nicho Hynes and Braydon Trindall playing a key role.

The Tigers hit back through rising dummy half Nu Brown, but the Sharks flexed their muscle with two tries in two minutes to extend their lead to 22-nil.

21ST MINUTE

The Sharks were in again, this time through rookie fullback Kade Dykes, who was in just his second NRL game. It came off Locky Miller’s cross-field grubber after taking off down the sideline.

Trindall came up with a similar to play to Hynes’ but on the other side of the field as he put in a grubber for Matt Ikuvalu to score.

The Sharks threatened several times before Hynes put a short grubber in for Locky Miller, who is filling in for Connor Tracey, to score in the corner.
