The Seattle Kraken (22-12-4) had to start the 2023 calendar year on the road. After a 4-1 win at home over the New York Islanders on New Year’s Day, the Kraken packed their bags for a seven-game road trip that will take them primarily through the northeast. The travel hasn’t been an issue though, as Seattle has won four games in a row. It’ll wrap up a four-game swing through Canada on Monday night, when the team visits the Montreal Canadiens (16-21-3). The Kraken have been lighting the lamp regularly on this trip with 22 goals total over their last four games – highlighted by an 8-4 win over the Ottawa Senators on Saturday. All eight goals in that one were scored by eight different players.
