Dunlap had an amazing run on Saturday to reach the final. The 58-year-old birdied five out of the last six holes. He shot a nine-under 63. It was a total of nine birdies and if he can replicate that performance he has a good shot of capturing his first senior title since the 2014 Boeing Classic. Even former NBA player, commentator and Michigan legend Jalen Rose got in on the action.
Dunlap has three players just one stroke back in Steve Stricker, Padraig Harrington and Brett Quigley so Dunlap will have to have a great day. This tournament is still anyone’s to win.
