A new mini golf experience promising to take players around the world with every putt will open in Perth’s north this week.
The colorful Hey Caddy course opens in Balcatta on Friday and will be the first WA-venue for the Australia-wide indoor golf chain.
It joins locations in Queensland, South Australia, Victoria and New South Wales, which claim to be “redefining the traditional mini putt experience” with the creative course and a “high-end lounge experience”.
Hey Caddy has joined the X-Golf Balcatta facility on Ledger Road, an indoor golf and entertainment venue that boasts state-of-the-art golf simulators for lessons, competitions and events, and a fully licensed bar.
Hey Caddy marketing manager Kate Hanly said it had been a long-term goal to bring the business to WA.
“Golfers will travel around the globe, visiting exciting destinations from the Love Bridge in Paris, the graffitied laneways of Melbourne to the boardwalks of Bora Bora,” she said.
“We hope to see other locations arrive in the State in the near future, so watch this space.”
Ms Hanly said with food and drinks available, there was something for the whole family to enjoy while making their way through the course.
“It’s popular in other States due to its suitability for all age groups and occasions from date nights to family outings,” she said.
“Also, it’s a fully air-conditioned venue, which is ‘par-fect’ for those hot summer days.”
