More eyes will be on Wembanyama when he suits up in Las Vegas on October 4 in Las Vegas to play the G League Ignite.
The two teams agreed to play each other in two preseason games as the Ignite preparation for the NBA G league season.
The Ignite will feature the player widely believed to be the second best prospect in the draft – Scoot Henderson.

Henderson posted a 58 percent true shooting percentage while averaging 14.0 points, 5.0 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game playing with the Ignite last season as a 17-year-old.
The former five-star recruit not only put up productive numbers but also proved he was a crafty guard who can control the pace, unraveling slow and methodical breakdowns on the perimeter on one hand yet having the burst and blow-by ability to scoot past defenders as well.
If Henderson can improve on his 17.4 percent shooting from three point range, he may have a chance of wrestling the No. 1 overall pick away from the highly acclaimed Wembanyama.
