COLORADO: The New Product Development Team at Sportwaves, in Lafayette, Colorado, announced today the launch of their GTO Pilot Program, created to gather insights from Golf Tournament Organizers across the country. The pilot program was created to support the development of Sportwaves’ new Golf Tournament Player Pouch and other products aimed at improving the golf experience for players, gaining impact for Sponsors, while making Golf Tournament Organizers’ jobs a lot easier.
“We’re excited to work with Golf Tournament Organizers to finalize the design for the Golf Tournament Player Pouch, interacting with them on this and other new products we’re creating,” said Herb Riehl, CEO of Sportwaves. “We’re not here to just plop a logo on an inferior import and call it a day. We’re all-in on listening and learning how to help Golf Tournament Organizers meet their unique challenges in running events by producing excellent products that fulfill their needs.”
Sportwaves is in the final phases of launching the Golf Tournament Player Pouch™, a zippered pouch that hangs on the outside of the golf bag, with easy access for tournament players to event essentials during tournament play.
The Player Pouch is designed to give players all they need and nothing more, keeping all event essentials together in one streamlined pouch, including the event schedule, foursome info, tee-off hole assignment, event instructions, scorecard, as well as raffle tickets, drink tokens, and room for gift cards, too. All essentials fit in one compact pouch. Hence the tagline: “The Essential Organizer For Golf Tournaments.”
“Through the GTO Pilot Program, we’re excited to forge long-lasting mutually beneficial relationships,” said John Coonen, Team Leader for Sportwaves Product Development. A veteran event planner and fundraiser himself, Coonen knows the many challenges of planning and executing successful events. “Golf tournaments are constantly evolving. I look forward to collaborating with a new generation of high-energy event pros to develop great new products for them!”
The Pilot Program’s only requirements are to respond to surveys, provide a written review, and share photos of the Golf Tournament Player Pouch in action at a tournament. In turn, it’s an opportunity to connect to others in the GTO Community, get early access to product updates and new product launches, dibs on top-level status in Sportwaves’ affiliate program, and a hefty 40% off discount.
