Following the workout, St-Louis confirmed Hoffman’s return to the lineup from a lower-body injury. He missed eight games.
St-Louis also confirmed that defenseman Mike Matheson won’t play due to a minor injury. He still skated with the rest of the group.

St-Louis also indicated that defensemen Joel Edmundson and Kaiden Guhle will play together, but his other pairings haven’t been finalized yet.
Based on Friday’s practice in Brossard, Jordan Harris could be paired with Johnathan Kovacevicwhile Arber Xhekaj could play with Chris Wideman.
