Upcoming golf event to raise funds for walkway rebuild
A unique fundraiser is coming up for the Kimberley Rotary Club, which is helping raise dollars for its Marysville Falls Walkway Rebuild project.
The ‘Thanks for Giving Golf’ event at the Purcell Golf Course will give golfers one extra day of golf on October 10.
This fun fundraising golf event is open to individuals and teams of four. It is not a competitive tournament but a fun event. The game is not just for Rotarians but for all levels of golfers who want an extra year-end game and want to help Rotary support some great local and international projects.
It will be a shotgun start and a modified best ball game ‘With a Rotary Roll’ on tee-off shots that will add fun to the game.
The $100 fee per player includes golf green fees with shared cart, a pregame snack and swag bag, an after game burger and beverage, social time and even a CRA tax receipt for $50.
There are also three extra events during the day to add more fun and prizes.
