Tucson Parks and Recreation is excited to announce the fall Kickoff event for the mobile recreation program Ready, Set, Rec! After slowing down during the hot summer months, the six vans, and equipment to bring recreation to the community, will visit at least three different park locations per week, per vehicle. This program ensures that the entire community is served and has an opportunity to participate in recreation activities near where they live.

Standard play equipment is packed into each vehicle along with some specialty modules including sports equipment, yard games, coloring and origami, race cars, disc golf, field and fitness activities, STEM, and sensory toys.
Join us at the fall Kickoff event at Purple Heart Park where we will celebrate with all six vans and activities, games, fun for all ages, and raffle prizes. Special guests include the First Tee Golf Program and the Tucson Roadrunners.
When: Saturday, Aug. 27, from 8-11 am
