New Delhi: There was a time when the memory of the mobile phone was just enough that it was barely full after putting 1000 photos, a few songs and a few videos. Then people would delete data from their phones at regular intervals. But these days, cellphone companies are offering storage from 64GB to 512GB. But since the camera quality of cellphones has improved, the size of photos has also increased significantly. Nowadays, the trend of making videos has also increased. Even if you make at least 2 videos a day, the mobile memory starts to run out after a year. But even these videos cannot be deleted. In such a situation, the only way left is to transfer the data to a computer or laptop. Let us know how it can be done.

1. USB transfer
The easiest and most popular way to transfer data from mobile to computer or laptop is “USB data transfer”. For this, the mobile must first be connected to the data cable. This data cable is not only available in the form of a mobile charger, as well as a compatible cable can be taken from the market.

After that, the USB end of the data cable should be inserted into the USB port of the laptop or computer. There are now three options on the mobile, in which the first charge is only. In other words, you just want to charge. The second option is file transfer, after selecting it the mobile file manager starts showing up on the laptop or computer.

Now from here you can select and copy or cut the desired file, paste it in any computer or laptop drive. By the way, it is better to transfer files to a drive other than C drive. The file can be easily transferred even by pasting it on the desktop.

2 OTG transfer
Since 2018, the possibility of installing a USB key is also available in the mobile itself. To do this, you must activate the OTG option by going to the mobile settings. After that, a small device, an OTG adapter must be installed. It is available in all stores selling mobile accessories.

This device has a pin to put it in the mobile and on the other side there is a USB port where the USB key can be installed. By placing the USB key here, transferring the data to it, the data can then be transferred safely by inserting the USB key into the computer or laptop.

3 Online Disc Download
Now, every mobile company also offers users the option to synchronize data online. To do this, when buying a new mobile, you must register in the mobile operator’s drive by going to their account section.

Even if you haven’t done so yet, there are plenty of online platforms that offer data storage for free or very cheaply. After creating your account here, the data can be downloaded and the data can be saved there by logging in from your laptop or computer.
