Tomb Raider Reloaded will be launched worldwide on iOS and Android later this month.

Embracer Group has announced that the roguelike mobile title will be available from February 14, with pre-registration already available on the Google Play store.

On the same date, Netflix subscribers will be able to download a separate version of the game which features no ads and no in-app purchases.

Players who pre-register will unlock a golden version of Lara’s dual pistols.

According to a statement by Embracer, Tomb Raider Reloaded “takes players on an action-filled adventure as they jump into the boots of groundbreaking hero Lara Croft on her swan-diving, cliff-climbing, back-flipping quest to obtain the ancient Scion artifact , clearing ever-changing rooms filled with new and familiar enemies as well as hazardous traps and puzzles”.

It adds: “Along the way, they’ll acquire run-specific boosts alongside permanent rewards, like XP modifiers, runes that improve Lara’s stats, and manuals used to unlock and upgrade her outfits, such as her fan-favorite bomber jacket.

“As players progress through each level, they can stack perks to enhance Lara’s abilities, and even craft weapons to upgrade her arsenal.”

Lara will be voiced in the game by Keeley Hawes, who previously voiced the character in Tomb Raider: Legend, Tomb Raider: Anniversary, Tomb Raider: Underworld and two digital-only Lara Croft games, Guardian of Light and Temple of Osiris.

Reloaded has been subjected to numerous delays since it was originally announced in November 2020.

The game was originally planned for a global release in 2021, and soft-launched in South East Asia, Thailand and the Philippines in May 2021.

However, in October 2021 it was confirmed that the game had slipped to a 2022 release, then in November 2022 it was delayed again. The game’s February 14 release date, then, has been a few years coming.
