Tom Brady urged to WALK AWAY from the NFL by Bills safety Jordan Poyer

‘You did everything you could’ve done… go be with your kids, man’: Bills safety Jordan Poyer urges ‘defeated’ Tom Brady to walk away from the NFL and RETIRE to focus on his family after Bucs’ season-ending loss to the Cowboys

Tom Brady has been told to call time on his NFL career – this time for good – to spend time with his children.

Bills safety Jordan Poyer, who says he ‘loves’ Brady, wants the 45-year-old Bucs QB to look at the bigger picture after Tampa Bay’s season-ending loss in the playoffs to Dallas.

‘Tom, you know I love you, and I feel like I’ve been riding for you all year,’ Poyer said on his podcast.

‘Early on, you can go back to my podcast, I said! you can’t count Tom out” … And sure as s*** he made the playoffs.

‘You did everything you could’ve done in this league. I understand you love this game. Go be with your kids, man.’

Poyer described seeing Brady struggle against the Cowboys as ‘hard to watch’ and suggested his greatness alone is now not enough to take a team over the top.

‘I didn’t like watching that game. It was hard to watch. You’re down 27-0 at halftime (it was 18-0). He was defeated. You could see he was defeated,’ Poyer added.

‘I still think he obviously knows everything about everything, the insides and outsides of football. But it does take 11 to play the game.

‘Go be with your kids, Tom. I appreciate everything you’ve done in this league. I got two picks off of you, one to the crib. Lost both games. I’m 0-11 against you. Yes, please go. Go be with your kids, Tom.’

Brady has two children with his ex-wife Gisele Bundchen, their son Benjamin, 13, and daughter Vivian, 10.

The Bucs QB has another son, 15-year-old Jack, with former partner Bridget Moynahan.

Brady and Bundchen confirmed publicly in October that they had divorced after 13 years of marriage.

Brady decided to call it a day and retire last February following the Bucs’ playoff exit to the LA Rams, who would go on to win the Super Bowl.

But he reneged on that decision and returned to Tampa 40 days later.

Now, following an 8-9 regular season record and elimination in the first round of the playoffs, questions are being asked if this really was Brady’s last dance in the NFL.

He delivered a somber monologue to end his post-game press conference which beat reporters described afterwards as ‘unusual’.

‘I just want to say thank you guys for everything this year,’ Brady told reporters.

‘I really appreciate all your efforts. And I know it’s hard for you guys, too. It’s hard for us players to make it through, and you guys got a tough job. And I appreciate all that you guys do to cover us and everyone who watches and is a big fan of the sport.

‘We’re very grateful for everyone’s support. You know, I love this organization. It’s a great place to be.

‘Thank you everybody for welcoming me, all you regulars. And just very grateful for the respect, and I hope I gave the same thing back to you guys. So thank you very much.’
