Former Navy SEAL talked about Tiger Woods’ performance

Tiger Woods’ fans know him for his golf swings and amazing records on the field. But the golfer had dreamed of doing more than just playing great golf in his life. There was a time when Woods was a part of the training facility for the Navy SEALs.

The golfer made many friends during his training. However, many of his fellow SEALs did not find him worthy of becoming one of them. They thought that Woods was only up for the fun stuff, and didn’t want to be part of the real deal. According to them, “shooting guns and jumping out of airplanes” was what Woods loved to do. But when it came to having his body soaked in hypothermic waters for hours, the golfer never came forward.

Former SEAL, Ryan Zinke, once opened up about Woods trying to be a soldier and how he fell short during the training. Keeping identities hidden, Zinke said, “His interactions with the guys were not always the most stellar, and most were very underwhelmed with him as a man.” Zinke also mentioned, “Tiger Woods never got wet and sandy.”

Woods was adamant to join the Navy

After Tiger Woods’ father passed away, he became obsessed with joining the Navy. The golfer started visiting the private training facilities of the Navy SEALs. According to his friends in the Navy, Woods was playing soldier for no reason. His career as a golfer was reaching new heights with every tournament he played and won. However, the golfer loved skydiving with the SEALs every time he visited them.

Woods has had a rough past when it comes to his personal life. He was broken after the death of his father, and the one thing that helped him come out of his grief was his time with the Navy.
