This Toronto home, with gated river access and overlooks the exclusive Rosedale Golf Club, abuts a country living escape while located five minutes away from the convenience of busy Yonge Street.

“Hogg Hollow’s is a very sought-after neighborhood; it’s a country in the city setting, kind of a magical setting,” said Barry Cohen, the listing’s broker.

“Hollows is a famous community because you find that the children who were raised there resettle later with their own mature families,” Cohen told the Star.

“It is quite economical, very expensive to put in but very inexpensive to run,” Cohen said. “It is coiled water running under the tiles or hardwood floors.”

Cohen told the Star that by regulating the temperatures of the oak wood floors, it reduces the chances of splitting the hardwood, cracking the trim or walls.

The lush, resort-like gardens can be enjoyed from the pool area, the outdoor cabana, as well as from the outdoor kitchen.

The home also comes with a glass-paneled hot tub and a large children’s play area.

“The sellers have had many opportunities, but they’re their next house wasn’t ready. And for that reason, we’ve waited for the proper closing date,” Cohen said. “So now we’re in a position to sell, and I suspect that it’ll probably be occupied in the next three months.”
