The NFL season kicks off in a little less than three weeks, and the rookie class is already making noise in the preseason.

The 2022 draft class did not see much quarterback talent selected compared to recent years.

But, the wide receivers and running backs are in plenty.

In a class full of future stars, here are three names that could win offensive rookie of the year.

3. Skye Moore, WR, Kansas City Chiefs

The Kansas City Chiefs decided to trade away star receiver, Tyreek Hill, in the offseason.

They spent the rest of the offseason looking for a replacement.

They signed Juju Smith-Schuster and Marquez Valdes-Scantling in free agency.

But, it is second-round draft pick, Skyy Moore, that seems to be standing out.

The rookie from Western Michigan can be a versatile piece in the Chiefs’ offense.

He has 4.41 speed and has sure hands that will make him valuable in a Patrick Mahomes-led offense.

The Chiefs used high draft capital on Moore for a reason.

They plan to get him involved a lot throughout this upcoming season.

2. Breece Hall, RB, New York Jets

The New York Jets selected the first running back in the NFL draft by taking Breece Hall 36th overall.

Now, as the lead back in this Jets offense, Hall should be given more of an opportunity than any other running back drafted.

At Iowa State, Hall showed the ability to play all three downs.

In his final college season, he rushed for 1,472 yards and 20 touchdowns to go along with 36 receptions for 302 yards.

The Jets have been looking for a three-down workhorse for years.

Now they get to see if Hall can be just that.

The last time a running back won the offensive rookie of the year award was in 2018.

For the most part, this is a stats-based award.

With Hall having the best opportunity among all rookie RBs, he has a chance to put up monster stats.

1. Drake London, WR, Atlanta Falcons

The best bet to bring home offensive rookie of the year is Atlanta Falcons wide receiver, Drake London.

The first WR taken in this past draft, London has all the measurables to be a true number one option in any offense.

London was the 8th overall pick in the draft and now he and Kyle Pitts are the only two targets in that offense.

Marcus Mariota will be commanding the offense, at least to start the year.

He should be targeting London in bunches, due to a lack of weapons.

The former basketball star in high school uses his jumping ability to high-point any balls thrown to him.

He has the advantage against almost every defensive back in jump ball scenarios.

Versatility is also a name to describe London’s game.

He can succeed in both the slot and outside.

All he needs is an opportunity and he should be the number one receiver in the Falcons’ offense.

Each of these players has a different skill set, but they all have one thing in common.

That is an opportunity, the ball should be headed their way often and that is why they should be favorites to win offensive rookie of the year.
