Longstanding corporate partners Farnell hold their 19th golf day in aid of Epilepsy Research UK last month, raising an incredible £13,805 for vital research into epilepsy.
Farnell have been committed supporters following the tragic loss of their CEO’s son to SUDEP 20 years ago. Ever since the company has held annual golf days in aid of Epilepsy Research UK, until the pandemic interrupted their plans the past few years. But the team continued to fly the flag for research into epilepsy by launching two virtual events. In total, Farnell has now raised over £190,000 for vital research into epilepsy through the phenomenal support of their sponsors and golfers.
Farnell is proud to be associated with running an annual Golf Event for over 20 years, raising money for Epilepsy Research UK to support further funding of research in this area.

Organized by Katie Lawal, the fantastic event saw over 80 Farnell team members, suppliers and customers travel from far and wide to be part of the day (some as far as Chicago!). Our Chief Executive, Maxine, and Marketing & Events Manager, Becca, were delighted to join Farnell at this year’s event to cheer on the golfers and thank everyone for their remarkable support.
Supporters like Farnell sustain our work, ensuring vital research into epilepsy continues. We thank them greatly for their decades of commitment to our shared cause.
