Golf season is underway, and preparation is key. The Pacific Daily News’ The Score is welcoming Nathan Kang as a new columnist bringing readers “Tee Tuesday” every second Tuesday of the month. The column will feature some tips, tricks and unique insight into the golfing world from Kang, a PGA Certified Professional and golf instructor.
Kang is known to train golfers at the Nathan Kang Golf Institute and primarily youths competing in the Junior Golf Tournament. Coming from the teachers and mentors synonymous with the golf world, like one of the PGA’s top instructors Mike Bender, Kang was able to turn himself into a rare class of instructors during his journey to be PGA certified.
With his experience, he will share some secrets on having the perfect golf form, the etiquette of playing and what to do if wildlife gets in the way.
Aside from being a PGA Certified Professional, he is also a Titleist Performance Institute-certified instructor, which focuses on golf fitness and health, junior golf development and swing mechanics. Kang will be tackling areas within the world of golf that will allow the public to experience the greens of the course with fresh eyes.
Kang’s column isn’t just for the hardcore golf aficionado but for those looking to get into golf or trying to develop skills on the course. No matter the level of a golfer, Kang’s knowledge will be able to cater. Look out for Kang’s “Tee Tuesday” every second Tuesday of the month.
