THE FLATS – Georgia Tech swimming and diving is set to host Emory for their first collegiate matchup of the season on Saturday, Oct. 1. The teams will compete in 13 events, starting with the 200 medley relay at 11 am
The Jackets are coming off their Intrasquad Scrimmage where both the swimmers and divers were able to preview what is to come this season. Eight meet records were broken by several returning and new Jackets during the two-day event. The meet records were broken by Mert Kilavuz, Berke Saka, Batur Ünlü, Daniel Kertesz, Zora Ripkova and freshman Deniz Ertan.
In addition to the athletes who broke meet records, the lineups for Emory will feature several returning team members and newcomers whose performances stood out at the White vs. Gold scrimmage.
