Tech suffers setback to Wisconsin in Norfolk

NORFOLK, Va. — Tech dropped a tough one to Wisconsin on Saturday afternoon in their first loss of the season, 5-0.

The Hokies top doubles paring of Jordan Chrysostom and Ryan Fishback picked up their second ranked win of the season against No. 24 Hubert/Minasyan in a 6-1 drubbing. Scott Sculley and Alvaro Saez-Royuela Ariza gave everything they had but fell just short in the seven point tiebreak giving Wisconsin the doubles point.

In singles, Tech never found their stride with all four matches ending in straight sets. Ariza and Michael Shepherd did not finish their respective matches.
