THE FLATS – After three days of competition, the Georgia Tech men’s tennis team concluded competition at the ITA Southeast Regionals in Tallahassee, Fla. The Jackets made it to the third round of play in both the main draw singles and doubles.
After earning wins in the first two rounds of the main draw singles, Keshav Chopra’s run at regionals came to an end as he fell to Georgia’s Teo Giusca 6-1, 6-4. Rohan Sachdev competed in the first stage of consolation singles but was defeated by Georgia’s Miguel Penez Pena in a two-set decision (6-1, 6-2).
Chopra and Robert Bauer concluded their final doubles match of the tournament. In the third round of the main draw, the Jackets fell 8-6 to Florida’s Jonah Braswell and Lukas Greif.
