CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — If you’re looking to be more creative and make art on your phone or computer, there’s a new AI art generator just for you.
If you’re seeing more colorful looking artwork on your social media timelines, your friends are probably using Midjourney.
This new AI art generator lets you help design or create unique images of pretty much whatever you want.
It’s essentially a chat room on Discord – a social media app and website.
It works best when you direct message the Midjourney bot itself, and put your prompt in there.
That way you won’t be overwhelmed with thousands of other users on the discussion threads.
For one image of a waterfall, we typed in “Waterfall off a cliff in the forest during golden hour.”
The bot then immediately came up with an image to fit that description. Pretty cool, huh?
If you use the same text again in a new prompt, it’ll come up with a different picture. No two are alike.
You can try out the bot and make a few images for free.
But if you want to continue using it to create more, it’ll cost you $10 a month for a basic membership.
With that, you can design 200 pictures per month.
Whether you decide to pay for the service or not, you do need to create a Discord account to get started.
