System76 saw your many comments and they’re going to deliver. The Pangolin is making a return, powered by all AMD.
Every time they announce something, there’s plenty of comments here and across the web asking them for more AMD units and so the Pangolin will deliver with an AMD Ryzen 7 6800U processor and AMD Radeon 680M graphics too. If that’s not enough to make you drool it also has a 144Hz display, with compatibility for DDR5 RAM and PCIe 4.0 NVMe storage. They also bumped up the battery to 70Wh with a claim of “up to” 10 hours battery life, but possibly longer.
All sounds pretty good!
Over email they also mentioned they heard your privacy calls, so it will also have a physical hardware privacy switch to fully disable both the webcam and microphone.
