What do you do when you’re trying to resurrect a nearly 40-year-old game that helped coin the term kusoge, or “crap game”? You turn it into a 16-player rougelike action game, which is exactly what SUNSOFT has done with the 1985 Famicom game Ikki. Its return as Ikki Unite was announced back in August, and now it has its PC release lined up for February 15.

The village is in trouble, and yet the collectors still demand taxes…
So let’s start a rebellion and get our rice back, and protect our village!
This time we are not alone! It’s time to “Ikki Unite” with up to 16 people!
It’s the MOST CASUAL of ONLINE COOP games with simple controls and satisfying gameplay!

Head towards the Daikan Yashiki!
This is roguelike action…but united!
