“Steph Curry at the 1, Kobe Bryant at the 2, at the 3 I would put Lebron James”

Did you know that a former NBA champion was teammates with Steph Curry, Kobe Bryant and LeBron James at different points in his career?

Ronny Turiaf played alongside some of the greatest players in NBA history during his 12-year career. Turiaf named the three legends as some of his best teammates ever in an exclusive interview with Liam Solomon of Basketball Insiders.

“Top five NBA teammates of all time, I will start at the point guard position,” Turiaf said. “Steph Curry at the 1. Kobe Bryant at the 2. At the 3, I would put Lebron James, at the 4 I’ll put Chris Bosh and at the 5 I would put myself.” via Baksetball Insider

Ronny Turiaf was the 37th overall pick in the 2006 NBA draft by the LA Lakers. Turiaf was teammates with Kobe Bryant for three seasons before joining the Golden State Warriors in 2008 as a free agent. He played alongside Steph Curry for two years until 2010 when he was traded to the New York Knicks.

In New York, Turiaf became teammates with Carmelo Anthony. He was then traded to the Washington Wizards and played with John Wall. He was traded once again to the Denver Nuggets in 2012, but was released.

The Miami Heat scooped him up to the team with LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh. Turiaf won his lone championship with the Heat that season before signing with the LA Clippers in 2013. He ended his career with the Minnesota Timberwolves, where Kevin Love was his teammate.

Turiaf has had an amazing career in the NBA considering he underwent heart surgery in college. He went on to become teammates with some of the greatest players in history, while also winning a championship.
