The Sharp NEC P627UL laser projector will be showcased at ISE 2023. The event will take place from January 31 to February 3 in Barcelona, where the company will provide a first look at the new device. The gadget has a laser light source providing up to 6,200 ANSI lumens brightness; this allows you to use the projector in brighter environments. Plus, you can throw images up to 300-in (~762 cm) wide with a 1.23 – 2:1 throw ratio.
The P627UL is expected to last over 20,000 hours thanks to the LCD light source and filter being stored in a sealed area. The device supports a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 px resolution and 4K @ 30 Hz input processing. The company claims that it is one of the quietest devices of its kind, producing 22 dB operating noise when running in Eco mode. Plus, the gadget has a minimal power consumption, using 318 W power in Normal mode.
Sharp/NEC suggests that the gadget would be handy in meeting rooms or educational settings. You can connect to the device via Wi-Fi with screen-sharing tools and a range of physical ports like HDMI, HDBaseT and USB-A. The gadget weighs 9.7 kg and measures 480 x 122 x 407 mm (~18.9 x 4.8 x 16.0-in). It is unclear how much the Sharp NEC P627UL Laser Projector will cost.
