HoopsHype published an article that listed all 515 current NBA players in their Real Value rankings.
Real Value takes into account Global Rating — which considers the last three seasons of productivity and gives extra value to players who’ve played in the last 365 days. Other Real Value factors include age, availability, defense and off-court issues.
As part of this process, NBA insider Michael Scotto brings direct insight from executives, coaches, and scouts around the league to make Real Value as accurate as possible.
For the Oklahoma City Thunder, the franchise has two players in the top 100.
No. 42: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: $27.3 million in real value vs. $30.9 million salary (-$3.6 million difference)
No. 80: Lou Dort: $17.1 million vs. $15.3 million salary (+$1.8 million difference)
Other Thunder players include:
No. 110: Josh Giddey: $13.4 million vs. $6.3 million salary (+$7.1 million difference)
No. 164: Darius Bazley: $9.1 million vs. $4.3 million salary (+$4.8 million difference)
The rest of the roster ranked 240 and below. Rookies such as Chet Holmgren were given a $0 value due to not playing an NBA game yet.
