Schenker has announced that the Vision 15 is now available with a CPU upgrade. The thin-and-light laptop still has a 15.6-inch FHD touchscreen, but can now be ordered with an Alder Lake platform. This E23 version also comes with LPDDR5 RAM and Wi-Fi 6E for the first time.

The Schenker Vision 15 attracted praise for its use of Tiger Lake silicon; now, we may get to see what it can do with the next generation of Intel silicon soon. Its maker has announced that the laptop’s latest E23 (or early 2023) model will be the one to get this opportunity.

Accordingly, the 15 (E23) has much the same specs and appearance as the current (“Intel MUC 15“) developed version “in collaboration with Intel“, although it has switched to a matte black finish for its metallic unibody rather than the silver that made the keyboard island stick out in its predecessor.

However, its latest units are powered by the “significantly faster” Intel Core i7-1260P platform. Therefore, its dual USB type-C ports are still both Thunderbolt 4, although it now supports Wi-Fi 6E and has potentially improved DDR5 RAM.

The Vision 15 (E23) is now available to order via Bestware in Europe starting at €999 although it may not ship until mid-January 2023. Meanwhile, its i7-1165G7-powered counterpart has experienced a price reduction and now starts at €899 .
