Santa Cruz Warriors rally past host Oklahoma City

Guard Ryan Rollins scored 12 of his 27 points in the fourth quarter as the Santa Cruz Warriors rallied past the Oklahoma City Blue 115-107 in front of 1,151 fans at Paycom Center in NBA G League action Thursday night.

Rollins, the 44th overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft out of the University of Toledo, shot 60% (12 of 20) from the field and had a team-best plus-15 rating when he was on the floor.

The Warriors look to earn their first win streak Saturday, when they play G League Ignite at The Dollar Loan Center in Henderson, Nevada, at 7 p.m.

Santa Cruz (2-2) shot 50% from the field (46 of 96), outrebounded the Blue 52-41, and made 25 assists against 17 turnovers. The Warriors had 24 second-chance points while OKC had six.

Santa Cruz’s Jerome Robinson made four of the Warriors’ 12 3-pointers and finished with 18 points to go along with five rebounds. Patrick Baldwin Jr. had 16 points and seven rebounds, Lester Quinones scored 14 points, Trevion Williams 12 points and nine rebounds, and JaQuori McLaughlin added 11 points.

It was the first loss of the season for the Blue (2-1)

Jahmi’us Ramsey led the Blue with 28 points. Jaylin Williams had 19 points, seven rebounds and six assists. Lindy Waters III made five of the Blue’s 15 3-pointers and also scored 19 points. Ousmane Dieng had 15 points and 11 rebounds, and DJ Wilson scored 10 points.
