A golf fan decided to send a remote control golf ball onto the green at the par-3 15th during round three of the BMW Championship, and Rory McIlroy was having absolutely none of it.
McIlroy, who was playing alongside Scott Stallings, was just about to putt out from 15 feet for birdie on the hole when someone in the gallery sent a remote control golf ball onto the green.
The Northern Irishman turned to stare at the golf fan and then took matters into his own hands when the ball was dancing around the cup.
McIlroy stopped the ball with his putter, picked it up and then threw it straight into the water!

McIlroy’s decision to launch the ball into the ripples was greeted with cheers, and a few boos.
oh man pictured belowwas then escorted out of the grounds by a law enforcement officer.
It is understood that the man ran onto the 15th green while disrupting play.
The man can be seen wearing a BMW Championship visor, shirt and neck lanyard.
McIlroy would go on to miss his birdie putt on the 15th but he would birdie the next two holes, only to three-putt for bogey on the 18th for a round of 70.
He lies at 7-under par in a tie for 10th and five shots off the pace currently set by defending champion Patrick Cantlay on 12-under par.
Xander Schauffele and Scott Stallings are one shot behind on 11-under par, with World No.1 Scottie Scheffler and Adam Scott a further shot back on 10-under par.
