Intel is planning to release the first batch of Raptor Lake mobile CPUs before 2023 rolls around. Leaker @momomo_us believes that the company is working on at least four Raptor Lake-H mobile SKUs, including two processors that are making their maiden appearance.

It is safe to say that Intel has had a successful launch for the Raptor Lake desktop CPUs. The processors not only bring meaningful performance upgrades over the 12th gen Alder Lake parts but also compare quite favorably to AMD’s Zen 4 offerings owing to Intel’s aggressive pricing. As previously confirmed by Intel, the company is preparing to launch Raptor Lake mobile processors by the end of the year. Hardware leaker @momomo_us now alleges that Intel is preparing four 13th gen SKUs for notebooks.

The chips in question are the Intel Core i9-13900HK, the Core i7-13700H, the Core i7-13620H, and the Core i5-13420H. According to previous reports, the Core i9-13900HK and the Core i7-13700H are 14-core/20-thread gaming SKUs with clock speeds that could reach 5.3 GHz and 4.95 GHz respectively. One of the defining characteristics of the Intel Raptor Lake architecture is the boosted P-core clocks. So, rumors of the mobile H-series boosting up to 5.3 GHz don’t seem outlandish.

Interestingly, this is the first time that we are seeing the Core i7-13620H and the Core i5-13420H CPUs. These two SKUs appear to be at the lower end of the Raptor Lake H-series mobile chips. If Intel does unveil them alongside the more powerful SKUs, we may see a handful of laptops rocking the chips at CES 2023.
