The tournament started on the 28thth October with 32 directly invited PUBG PC teams from across India. Now, a week later the final stage of the event is upon us with the top 16 teams ready to face each other in the Grand Finals, taking place from 4th to 6th November
To reach this stage, teams had to fight through several other stages including Rank Decision Phase -> Qualifying Phase -> Survival Phase -> Play-Ins -> Grand Finals.
Villager Esports Domin8r Series reaches Grand Finals stage to crown its PUBG PC champion
After a week of grueling competition, only 16 teams remain as the pool dwindled down from the initial 32 teams that had started out with the Rank Decision Phase, which split all the participants between Qualifying Phase (top 16 teams) and Survival Phase (bottom 16 teams).
This was followed by the top eight teams from the Qualifying Phase moving on to the Grand Finals while the bottom eight teams dropped down to the Play-Ins.
Similarly, the top eight teams from the Survival Phase made their way to the Play-Ins while the bottom eight teams were eliminated from the tournament.
With 16 teams making their way to the Play-Ins another set of matches split them into two halves, the top eight going to the Grand Finals while the bottom eight were eliminated from the tournament.
