Pro Football Network ranked all the head coaches in the NFL and shared those rankings on Twitter on Thursday. PFN gave Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin his props, ranking No. 3 in the NFL.
The only coaches ahead of Tomlin are Kansas City Chiefs Andy Reid and New England Patriots Bill Belichick. We concede that Reid is definitely the top coach in the NFL right now, Belichick feels a little exposed since losing Tom Brady.
For his career, Tomlin is 163-93-2 in the regular season. His teams are 8-9 in the playoffs and he coached the Steelers to two Super Bowl appearances, winning one of them. Tomlin took over the head coaching position in Pittsburgh in 2007.
Critics of Tomlin point to that playoff record as his biggest negative. The Steelers have a streak of non-losing regular seasons every year Tomlin has been the head coach but has not won a playoff game since the divisional round of the 2016 season.
