Best NBA 2K23 centers predicted ratings
In most sports, a lot rests on the center’s shoulders, literally. Basketball centers frequently shoot three-pointers, pass, and dribble in transition while being the team’s top rebounder, interior scorer, and defender.
In addition to being the most physically powerful player in NBA 2K23, they also need to have a diverse range of skills. Check out our top 5 predictions for this year.
5. Bam Adebayo – Miami Heat (OVR 88)
In NBA 2K22, Bam Adebayo had a total of 30 Badges, a Build of a Glass-Cleaning Lockdown, and a final Overall Rating of 87.
Last season, Adebayo had a poorer field goal percentage, 56% to be precise, and a free throw percentage of 75%. He also averaged over 10 rebounds and 0.8 blocks per game, solidifying his status as possibly the NBA’s most complete center, we don’t think there will be much change in his ratings this year.
4. Rudy Gobert – Minnesota Timberwolves (OVR 89)
You may have seen or may know that Rudy Gobert is quite dominant and efficient in his position. Last season he increased his scoring average to 15.6, a free-throw shooting of 69%, he averaged a career-best of 14.7 rebounds, per game, we might add.
In NBA 2K22, his OVR was 88, it may not change, but we’re hoping it does. He had 20 badges, and two of those are Hall of Fame Level, now you tell us why he wouldn’t be part of our top 5?
3. Karl-Anthony Towns – Minnesota Timberwolves (OVR 90)
Another Timberwolves player makes it to our top 5. Karl-Anthony Towns received an overall rating of 89 and an Inside-Out Scorer for his build and had 29 badges.
At just 26 years old Towns has 9.8 rebounds; 3.6 assists; 1.1 blocks per game; 1.0 steals, and these numbers have remained stable. It’s only fair that his OVR is 90 in NBA 2K23.
2. Nikola Jokic – Denver Nuggets (OVR 97)
Nikola Jokic has a 3-Level Scorer Build with a final Overall Rating of 96 on NBA 2K22. He earned 46 badges in total, including 2 Hall of Fame Level badges.
In the 2021-22 NBA season, Jokic finished with 27.1 points, 13.8 points in rebounding, and 7.9 assists. He led the Denver Nuggets to 48 victories, while also averaging the most steals of 1.5 and 0.9 blocks per game.
1. Joel Embiid – Philadelphia 76ers (OVR 98)
At the top of our list, we have Joel Embiidwho had a 37-badge total, a final Overall Rating of 96 on NBA 2K22and the construction of a 2-Way 3-Level Scorer.
One of the top centers in the NBA League is Joel Embiid. Embiid had a career-high 68 games played, 30.6 points per game, and 4.2 assists per game while maintaining MVP contender the entire season. Right now, he’s among the finest teammates around.
