Rumored NVIDIA RTX 4090 Ti specs emerge
A quick update to RTX 4090 Ti specs shared by Kopite7kimi himself.
It looks like we are getting closer to NVIDIA making an even faster RTX 40 graphics cards available. Just 2 days ago, a new leak confirmed that NVIDIA is working on a 800W TITAN GPU, possibly equipped with 48 GB of memory. Today we learn that TITAN and RTX 4090 Ti should actually be two different models after all.
According to Kopite, the RTX 4090 Ti would feature a cut-down AD102 GPU with 18176 cores (1792 cores more than RTX 4090), an upgraded memory to 24 Gbps modules and TBP of 600W. The last part is not exactly clear whether that’s referring to TDP, TGP or simply max board power. In any case, it may simply be higher default board power (450W+), while max configurable power limit is the same as on RTX 4090 Ti (600W). That’s the limit of one 16-power connector.

The faster memory chips suggest that the card would have a maximum bandwidth of 1152 GB/s, so 144 GB/s faster than any RTX 4090 on the market right now. One should also notice that Kopite is confirming the board number of PG136 and PG139. These are NVIDIA reference and Founders Edition board numbers. In other words, the RTX 4090 Ti would have the same board as the RTX 4090.
It is not a secret that NVIDIA was planning this card for a long time now. One of the first things to leak ahead of RTX 40 launch was this metal piece from the new cooler design, something that was later used for RTX 4090 non-Ti model instead.
Kopite is not confirming when such a card would be released. In fact, there appears to be no reason to launch a new flagship Ti model right now at all. On the other hand, NVIDIA is now expected to have a GTC keynote in March, which would have been a good place to announce a new TITAN.
