NOVA West Island’s 29th Annual Golf Tournament tee’s up a successful event | Sports

NOVA West Island’s 29th Annual Golf Tournament, cocktail and dinner event was another rousing success as it raised $130,250 towards their numerous programs. The event was held on Monday August 8 at the Beaconsfield Golf Club with several dignitaries in attendance. Francis Scarpaleggia, Member of Parliament, Lac Saint-Louis, Dominic Rossi, Political Attaché Office of Marquette, Tim Thomas Mayor of Pointe-Claire and Heidi Ektvedt Mayor of Baie d’Urfé all were on hand.

Thanks to Traffic Tech the Gold sponsor, R&B Packing & Seals, Home Care Assistance, National Bank, all Bronze sponsors plus all other sponsors and donors the tournament was able to raise that $130,250.

NOVA West Island offers a range of services free of charge or at low cost through the financial support of individuals, foundations, corporations, municipalities, community groups, and through fundraising activities. The programs include Bereavement Support for children and adults, Adult Day Centers for adults with cognitive deficits, Palliative Home Nursing Care (cancer/ALS), Support Group for ALS Caregivers and Caregiver Support – Alzheimer Society of Montreal.
