Out there… Lifestyle guru Martha Stewart of Bedford, NY, this weekend is opening her new restaurant — The Bedford by Martha Stewart at the Paris Las Vegas. The 194-seat restaurant features decor inspired by her 1925 farmhouse, with a menu of French-inspired cuisine from some of Stewart’s favorites.

Out there… Actor Richard Gere purchased the 32-acre New Canaan estate of singer/songwriters Paul Simon and Edie Brickell. The Georgian mansion at 82 Brookwood Lane sold for $10.8 million on July 1. Previously, the “Pretty Woman” actor and owner of the Bedford Post Inn in Bedford, sold his 50-acre compound on Old Stone Hill Road in Pound Ridge, NY. where he had lived with ex-wife Carey Lowellfor $24 million and purchased a brick mansion with his wife, Alejandra Silvain North Salem, NY, in January 2021.
