Cole Caufield +112 over 3.5 shots on goal

The Montreal Canadiens sniper has carried over his strong play from last season into this one with three goals in his first four games. Caufield leads Montreal in shot attempts with 27 and shots on goal with 16. The Habs take on a Coyotes team that is coming off a win over the Maple Leafs, but is still a pretty terrible squad overall. Arizona is allowing 41 shots on goal per game right now and should give Caufield plenty of opportunity to hit the over.

David Pastrnak +118 over 4.5 shots on goal

Pastrnak has been on a shooting tear to start the season without Brad Marchand in the lineup. In Boston’s first four games, the Bruins forward is averaging 10 shot attempts per game (41 total) and has hit the net 24 times. Boston hosts Anaheim tonight. The Ducks have allowed the most shots on goal per game (42) so far in the NHL this season. “Pasta” should be eaten in this matchup.

Jason Robertson over 2.5 shots on goal -125

This shot total is just too low for me. Dating back to last season, Robertson is averaging 5.4 attempts and 3.02 shots on goal per game. He’ll also be facing his younger brother Nick who will make his season debut for Toronto, so there could be more incentive for big bro to perform well in this tilt.
