NFL Week 16 presents a unique scenario of most teams playing on a short week. The majority of the NFL schedule will be played on Christmas Eve — which is Saturday — and there will be a special tripleheader on Christmas Day Sunday. Jacksonville at the Jets starts the schedule on Thursday night. The Jets are a small favorite. See the matchups, spreads, and totals for NFL Week 16 below.
The Chiefs are the biggest Week 16 favorite, as they are favored by 9.5 points at home against the Seahawks. Kansas City needed overtime to beat the Texans as 14-point favorites on the road in Week 15.
Buffalo, Tennessee, Baltimore and San Francisco are all big favorites that are favored by more than a touchdown.

NFL Playoffs clinching scenarios
Six teams have already punched their tickets to the playoffs with three weeks remaining in the regular season. The Cowboys, Eagles, Vikings, 49ers, Chiefs and Bills will play in the NFL’s annual tournament. For simplicity’s sake, I’m only listing the teams that can get in or clinch a division title with a win in Week 16. Our NFL staff will have the full rundown of scenarios later this week.
- Philadelphia clinches NFC East and No. 1 seed with a win at Dallas.
- Bills clinch the AFC East with a win at Chicago.
- Bengals clinch playoff spot with a win at New England.
