NFL playoffs: updated schedule, dates, and times for championship games

The first two games of the NFL divisional rounds were played today while the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars in the AFC and the Philadelphia Eagles crushed the New York Giants in the NFC, now all is left is to wait for tomorrow when the Buffalo Bills play the Cincinnati Bengals and the San Francisco 49ers play the Dallas Cowboys.

With these victories, both teams advanced to the championship game of their respective conferences. The Chiefs await the winner of the Cincinnati Bengals and Buffalo Bills; the Eagles await the winner of the Dallas Cowboys and San Francisco 49ers.

In the NFC, Philadelphia will host its rival at Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday, January 29 at 2:00 pm CT

In the AFC, Kansas City will have to wait to find out where the final will be played. If Buffalo beats Cincinnati, the championship game will be played at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. If the Bills lose, the game would be at the Chiefs’ home, Arrowhead Stadium. What stays the same is the day, it will also be held on January 29th, but at 5:00 pm CT

Why would that happen?

The Bills-Bengals game in Week 17 was canceled due to Damar Hamlin’s dramatic injury and both teams ended up a game down. Buffalo’s final record was 14-3, Cincinnati finished at 13-4, while Kansas was 14-3 with one game left.

Dallas Cowboys vs. San Francisco 49ers

A game with a lot of history will be played in the NFC. The Cowboys and 49ers have met eight times in the playoffs, with the record favoring Dallas with five wins and three losses.
