Week 15 of the NFL season continues with 11 more games on Sunday, Dec. 18. Following three games on Saturday with big postseason implications, the playoff picture should come more into focus today.

Although there are only two divisional games, one was important enough to flex to “Sunday Night Football.” Apologies to the Josh McDaniels-Bill Belichick reunion, but it’s a good thing that the game won’t be in prime time.
Several more games carry serious intrigue, including Lions-Jets, which few would have predicted earlier this season. That makes up for a Titans-Chargers and Bengals-Bucs, which will both be crucial but also would have been more exciting a few weeks ago.
So if you’re wonderingWhat NFL games are on today?” know this: There are 11 scheduled for today, Sunday, Dec. 18.

NFL Games on TV Today
Pittsburgh at Carolina, 1 p.m. on CBS/live stream on fuboTV
The Panthers could easily have a top-five pick or win their division. That’s how bizarre the NFC South is right now. Pittsburgh doesn’t have much hope of making the playoffs but will keep fighting as the Steelers attempt to avoid the first-ever losing season under head coach Mike Tomlin.
Philadelphia at Chicago, 1 p.m. on FOX/live stream on fuboTV
The Eagles are two games up on the rest of the NFC with four weeks to go, so a win today would nearly clinch home-field advantage in the playoffs. Meanwhile, Chicago is hoping a late bye can help end a conference-worst six-game losing streak.
Kansas City at Houston, 1 p.m. on CBS/live stream on fuboTV
The AFC’s best record goes up against the AFC’s worst. This one could get ugly. Tune in to see if Patrick Mahomes can unveil any new ways to throw a touchdown pass, after last week’s no-look toss to Jerick McKinnon for a 56-yard score.
Dallas at Jacksonville, 1 p.m. on FOX/live stream on fuboTV
After barely surviving the lowly Texans last week, the Cowboys will continue their tour through the AFC South. The Jaguars are only two games out of first in the division, so they’re highly motivated despite holding just a 5-8 record.
Atlanta at New Orleans, 1 p.m. on FOX/live stream on fuboTV
Desmond Ridder will be making his debut in this game, which is reason enough to monitor it. But there’s an outside chance that the NFC South could end in a four-way tie at 6-11, and a Saints win here would be the first step. If you’re a fan of football chaos, this could be the game for you.
Detroit at New York Jets, 1 p.m. on CBS/live stream on fuboTV
Who would have guessed that this game would have playoff relevance? Neither team would be a wild card if the season ended today, but they’re on the precipice. This game should be especially interesting since the Lions have recently scored at will while being unable to stop anyone, and the Jets have a tough defense with a struggling offense. Oh, and Zach Wilson is back at quarterback for the JETS too.
Arizona at Denver, 4:05 pm on FOX/live stream on fuboTV
Both teams entered the season with postseason aspirations, but at this point, draft position is the biggest thing on the line. It’s too bad the Broncos (currently second overall) don’t have their first-round pick. Arizona (seventh), at least, can still benefit from a loss.
New England at Las Vegas, 4:05 p.m. on FOX/live stream on fuboTV
Josh McDaniels faced Bill Belichick and the Patriots once when he was the head coach of the Broncos and won 20-17 in overtime. This will be his mentor’s chance at revenge — and he needs the win with the Patriots barely holding onto a wild-card spot.
Cincinnati at Tampa Bay, 4:25 p.m. on CBS/live stream on fuboTV
Sure, this isn’t the matchup of juggernauts most hoped it would be. But it should still be an entertaining game. How could it not be when Tom Brady and Joe Burrow are meeting for the first time? Expect plenty of offense in this one.
Tennessee at Los Angeles Chargers, 4:25 p.m. on CBS/live stream on fuboTV
These 7-6 teams hope they will meet again in the playoffs, but this game may help determine who will actually make it. The Chargers are the first team out of the postseason currently in the AFC, and the Titans’ hold on the AFC South is growing more tenuous by the day.
New York Giants at Washington, 8:20 pm (SNF) on NBC/live stream on fuboTV
This game will be absolutely pivotal in the wild-card race, as they are both tied with 7-5-1 records. The Giants’ schedule, in particular, is brutal down the stretch, but this will almost be a win-and-you’re-in scenario with three more weeks to go after this game.
