Russell Wilson’s first game as the Broncos’ quarterback in his emotional return to play the Seahawks (+6.5) wasn’t the only notable event from Monday Night Football. I mean, yes, Wilson wore a slick mint green suit in his tunnel walk, but again, his homecoming wasn’t the only noteworthy happening in Seattle.
It was also the debut of Joe Buck and Troy Aikman as the lead announcing team for one of the NFL’s marquee broadcasts. Given that the commenting duo had called 20 years’ worth of Sunday afternoon games on Fox, some devoted football folks found their presence in the broadcast booth a bit confusing:
